B-Ball
Darly (aka “??”, or Da4 Li4) and I met up at the Crowne Plaza and took a taxi to one of the basketball courts in Ke Ji Yuan for some pickup basketball with fellas at the office. There’s not much to say about it, other than it was extremely hot and humid and we were totally soaked when done. It’s been a long time I’ve played an intense sport like basketball in that kind of heat. I thought, “Why not just share some quick pics and a movie with the folks back home…” Enjoy.

Hoops was a blast! The level of play was decent although I can’t say I’m a bball star myself. Theron is a ringer that brings fear to his opponents, especially with the outside bomb. It was hot as indicated, I was down a couple quarts by the time we finished. The tall guy was good competition, he juked me so hard once I fell flat on my ass! Afterwards he said it was nice to have Theron and me there for some better competition for him. I noticed there were few hack fouls and even fewer disputed foul/out of bounds calls which is a different experience from playing at home. I look forward to playing again next trip!
